I picked it up from this "repair" and whammo, later that night it happened again. They ended up saying that the computer wasn't communicating and it was under warranty so they replaced it free of charge. A few days later it did it while running errands and I drove (as quickly as the car would allow) to the dealership and pulled into the service garage, left it running and told them to check it. It was after the service shop hours, so I drove home, shut it off and then the next start up it had reset, drove fine, with engine light on. I ended up getting charged for them to repair some wires that were exposed. I took it to the dealership to be looked at and the computer could not pick up on anything as it wasn't doing this bullshit when I brought it there. Then fire it up and she drives again as if nothing has happened. It occasionally will not start up at all until it sits for approx. I let it sit often times it resets itself and drives as if nothing has happened, leaving the engine light on for the next two engine shutoff/turn-ons. If while I am driving during this, I have to stop at a light etc., when I attempt to accelerate it is as if the car is in 3rd gear and moves very slowly until it finally catches and then maintains speed until I have to stop again. I can continue to drive with it, but clearly am guessing my speed at this point and if I get the speed up too high the engine sounds like it is being stressed and the RPMS go up.so I watch the RPMs and continue to drive until I can stop in a safe spot. Whatever speed I am traveling at stays on the odometer, even if I am completely stopped. While driving at any speed, situation, there is apparently no related cause of this issue - the car loses power, the "service stabilitrek" message appears, I clear that message, and "service transmission" appears.
